Maryam (AS), daughter of Imran, was dedicated to the service of Allah SWT from birth. Her mother vowed to devote her child to the temple, and Maryam grew up in purity under the care of Prophet Zakariya (AS). Miraculously, Allah SWT provided her with fresh fruits out of season, a sign of His favor. The angels declared to her: 'O Maryam, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.'

When Maryam withdrew to a secluded place, the angel appeared in the form of a man, announcing that she would bear a son, Isa (AS), by the command of Allah SWT. Though a virgin, she conceived through divine miracle, facing societal whispers but remaining steadfast in faith. She gave birth under a palm tree, where Allah SWT sustained her with dates and fresh water.
