In Surah Al-Imran (3:42), the angels declared to Maryam (AS): 'O Maryam, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.' Born to Imran and his wife, who vowed to dedicate her child to the service of the temple, Maryam (AS) grew up in purity and devotion. Under the care of Zakariya (AS), she received miraculous provisions from Allah SWT—fresh fruits out of season appeared in her chamber, a sign of divine favor.

Maryam's (AS) unwavering faith shone when Jibril (AS) appeared, announcing she would bear a son, Isa (AS), without a father. Despite societal whispers, she remained steadfast, withdrawing to a remote place for the birth. There, a date palm provided sustenance, and a stream flowed at her feet, easing her trials. Through her, Allah SWT manifested miracles, affirming her exalted status.
