Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 April 2026

These Terms govern your use of sacredayat.co.uk and the Sacred Ayat content channels (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who we are

Sacred Ayat is a UK-based independent publisher of cinematic Quranic short-form and long-form video, free educational tools (prayer times, Hijri calendar), and reverent Islamic merchandise. We do not represent any mosque, scholar, or sectarian institution.

Use of the Service

Content and intellectual property

Original videos, scripts, narration, music cues, photography, calligraphy, and site copy are © Sacred Ayat 2026. Embedded Quranic text is the inviolable Word of Allah SWT and remains in the public domain. Translations cited are credited to their respective scholars.

Commercial use, broadcast, or repackaging of our content requires written permission. Email hello@sacredayat.co.uk.

Editorial policy

We strictly follow Islamic visual tradition: no depictions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ or any prophet (peace be upon them all). We are sectarian-neutral, cite every verse using Surah name and chapter:verse, and use honorifics consistently (ﷺ, AS, SWT). If you spot a factual or scriptural error, please email us.

Merchandise and donations

Pre-orders and merchandise purchases are processed by Stripe and fulfilled by Printful. UK consumer rights apply. Charity donation links route directly to UK-registered Islamic charities; Sacred Ayat takes 0% of donations.

TikTok integration

We use the TikTok Content Posting API only to publish content from our own Sacred Ayat brand account. We never post on behalf of, request access to, or modify any TikTok user's profile or posts other than our own. You can revoke our TikTok app access at any time from your TikTok settings.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep prayer times accurate (sourced from Aladhan API) but are not responsible for variation between calculation methods. Always consult a qualified scholar for fiqh rulings.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred Ayat is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Your statutory consumer rights under UK law are not affected.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
